PSSI Executive Committee (Exco) member Ahmad Riyadh revealed that the competition could renew if three conditions were met. The competitions are League 1 2022/2023, League 2 2022/2023, and League 3 2022. The first and alternate conditions are if the security format and the competition system have been rearranged. The third condition is to get blessing from FIFA.
” League 1 will stop until the security format and competition system are duly reorganized,” said Ahmad Riyadh.
“Still, we will stay for blessing from FIFA and also we will carry it out again,” he continued,” If it’s good.
Ahmad Riyadh explained that PSSI continued to coordinate with FIFA after the Kanjuruhan tragedy which claimed hundreds of lives. FIFA representative, Niko Nhouvannasak has come to Indonesia and met with PSSI. Niko Nhouvannasak as FIFA Development Project fellow.In addition, FIFA President, Gianni Infantino will also visit Indonesia on October 18, 2022.

The competition in Indonesia, which consists of Liga 1, Liga 2, and Liga 3, was laid over after entering an order from President Jokowi. Jokowi also plans to form a metamorphosis platoon for Indonesian football with FIFA and AFC.

PSSI stops league 1
The Kanjuruhan tragedy after the Arema FC vs Persebaya match redounded in League 1 must stop. At least 132 people failed and further than 300 were injured in the tragedy.
President Jokowi asked Liga 1 to be stopped indefinitely. Until there’s an evaluation and enhancement of security procedures.
” I’m in constant communication regarding how clubs will get certainty when Liga 1 will renew. They’re staying,” said Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora), Zainudin Amali.
” Clubs also spend every day. They pay players, trainers, and so on. We’ve to give certainty,” he continued.
